Short documenting the successful struggle to secure liberation for immigrants detained at Mesa Verde Detention Center in the midst of the 2020 covid-19 pandemic touched off by the heroic hunger strike of immigrant women detained at the facility.

Kenia’s Story

Kenia is a Guatemalan asylum seeker, single mother, and domestic violence survivor currently detained at Mesa Verde Detention Center. This has left her children without monetary support, and they now need our community to rise up to the occasion and help sustain them as we fight for their mother's liberation.
